Facial plastic surgery clinic.

During the past decade, the Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic, under the leadership of Walter E. Berman, MD, of Beverly Hills, California, was a popular feature of the EAR, NOSE & THROAT JOURNAL. A recent addition to out editorial board is Steven Ross Mobley, MD, assistant professor of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Utah Medical School in Salt Lake City. Dr. Mobley completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with J. Regan Thomas, MD, and Dean M. Toriumi, MD, at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and has agreed to work with Dr. Berman to produce this important Clinic once again. Dr. Mobley is starting a series of Clinics, beginning with this issue, that will frequently include as authors prominent senior facial plastic surgeons.

As in the past, the goal of this Clinic is to describe for out readers surgical techniques and treatments proven to be successful. This feature is expected to be of interest both to the seasoned surgeon and the beginner. The Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic will feature color photographs and illustrations. It will offer the opportunity to all otolaryngologists and plastic surgeons who have mastered a unique technique or found a better way to solve a problem to submit their ideas to this Clinic, to demonstrate them to their colleagues.

I welcome Dr. Mobley to the ENT JOURNAL and look forward to the continuing success of the Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic.
