QUALCOMM's (Nasdaq:QCOM QCOM Qualcomm, Inc. (stock symbol) ) CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum. The foremost application of CDMA is the digital cellular phone technology from QUALCOMM that operates in the 800 MHz band and 1.9 GHz PCS band. Technologies (QCT QCT Quantitative Computed Tomography (bone scanning method) QCT Quasi-Classical Trajectory QCT Qualcomm CDMA Technology QCT Quality Control Team QCT Qualcomm Cdma Technologies ) division led all public fabless companies in sales for the year with $2.5 billion. QUALCOMM's QCT division also led all public fabless companies in sales for Q4 2003, with sales totaling $751.8 million. Broadcom and NVIDIA rounded out the top three, announcing $479.1 million and $472.1 million in revenue, respectively. Overall, the FSA estimates 2003 total fabless revenue to reach more than $23 billion, or 21 percent year-over-year (YoY), compared to 18 percent YoY industry growth. Based on reported Q4 2003 results, fabless revenues are expected to total $6.5 billion, up 16 percent sequentially from $5.6 billion in Q3 2003, and more than 25 percent YoY.
