FUTURE VISION; EXHIBITS DAZZLE AT BURBANK MALL.

``Innovations 99 - The Festival of Technology'' will continue this weekend at Media City Center in Burbank. And today, Nintendo of America will host a Pokemon Tournament, in which children ages 7 to 14 can participate.

Pokemon - the Japanese name for ``pocket monster'' - is a character that has spawned a mind-boggling array of video games See video game console. , trading cards, clothing and toys along with its own TV show and a soon-to-come movie.

The tournament will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants must bring their own Game Boy hand-held video game systems and their Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue game packs to play.

The Festival of Technology started Aug. 27 and is sponsored by the mall, which wanted to provide a way to introduce customers to new technology available in the marketplace.

The Burbank Police Department The Burbank Police Department is the police department serving Burbank, California.

Rides will be available in an electric car, from noon to 5 p.m. today and Sunday.

The Otis School of Fashion Design will present ``Fashions of the Future,'' 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., today and Sunday.
