 FURON ANNOUNCES SETTLEMENT
 LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Furon Co.


(NASDAQ: FCBN) today announced that CHR Industries, a subsidiary of Furon Co. and the United Rubber, Cork, Linoleum and Plastic Workers of America, Local 231, have reached a settlement of the labor disputes which arose as a result of the collective bargaining negotiations which began in September 1990. This settlement will result in the reemployment of all former striking employees of CHR and the withdrawal of all labor charges filed by the parties as a result of the negotiations and strike which took place at CHR.
 Furon Co., headquartered in Laguna Niguel, is a manufacturer of components from specialized polymer materials for the industrial market. The company serves a wide range of industries, including petrochemical, aerospace, medical, transportation, pollution control and fluid power.
