Craft said the jar will go on prominent display when the home is built.

The citizens committee is raising money to buy television sets and other amenities to furnish the home, which is stalled by lack of funding from the state. Gov. Gray Davis last September vetoed legislation by Sen. W.J. ``Pete'' Knight, R-Palmdale, and Assemblyman as·sem·bly·man

``I have not heard anything positive out of Sacramento,'' Craft said at a committee meeting this week at Lancaster City Hall.
