FUJIKURA AMERICA EXHIBITS AT FIRST U.S. SHOW -- INTEROP 92 FALL; ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND NETWORKING PRODUCTS
 SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Fujikura America Inc. today announced plans to expand its established marketbase in telecommunications and computer networking products. As part of this expansion, Fujikura America will be attending its first U.S. tradeshow as an exhibitor at the INTEROP 92 Fall conference and exhibition, Oct. 26-30, 1992.
 Fujikura, a leading designer and manufacturer of proprietary advanced intelligence Ethernet and ISDN-switching products will be introducing its existing Ethernet product line to the general U.S. marketplace.
 According to Connor Vlakancic, national manager of marketing and sales, "INTEROP 92 Fall is the perfect opportunity for Fujikura to present its successful product line to our expanding U.S. market base. Our participation in INTEROP 92 Fall sends a clear message to the industry and users that Fujikura is committed to providing the state-of-the-art in networking products."
 New Products Announcements
 Fujikura America is announcing new integrated products at INTEROP 92 Fall: the rack mount FN-1200 hub product line. This 802.3-compliant integrated rack mount system has eight slots for configuration with 10Base-T port cards, 10Base-2 port cards, 10Base-5 port cards, FDDI port cards, and SNMP management card and local bridge card. Fujikura America will also be showing the NE2000 ISDN communications controller which is capable of integrating simultaneous T1, fractional T1 and Primary Rate, Basic Rate and Switched 56Kbps services. These new products will provide LAN and WAN users with greater flexibility and cost-effective alternatives.
 Fujikura America Demonstrates ISDN Interoperability with Japan
 Fujikura America Inc. will be demonstrating international ISDN interoperability between the Fujikura booth and Fujikura Ltd. office in Japan. The demonstration will provide a real-time, mission- critical example of wide-area networking. It will involve typical corporate software applications running between multiple locations in the United States and Tokyo, using basic-rate ISDN lines. The international connections will be provided via public-switched INS56 ISDN network connections between Pacific Bell and AT&T in the United States and NTT and KDD in Japan.
 The demonstrations are scheduled to take place in the Fujikura America Inc. booth no. 6169 at INTEROP 92 Fall during the following times:
 -- Wednesday, Oct. 28: 1 p.m., 3 p.m.
 -- Thursday, Oct. 29: 11 a.m., 3 p.m.
 -- Friday, Oct. 30: 10 a.m., 2 p.m.
