FTVentures Names New Partners.


SAN FRANCISCO -- Eric Byunn and Chris Winship have been promoted to Partner at FTVentures, a private equity firm that provides growth capital to companies providing meaningful solutions to the financial services industry. Byunn, focused on software investing, and Winship, focused on business services investing, are both part of the firm's San Francisco office.

"Eric and Chris have been instrumental to the growth and success of FTVentures and have been key contributors to our deal team," said Richard Garman, FTVentures Managing Partner. "Both individuals have consistently demonstrated strong leadership and investment skills and have built solid track records."

Prior to joining FTVentures in 2002, Byunn was Director of Online Services at myCFO, a start-up wealth management firm. He joined myCFO from America Online, where he held several roles including management of Netscape's Personal Finance Channel. Prior to the acquisition of Netscape by AOL (A division of Time Warner, Inc., New York, NY, www.aol.com) The world's largest online information service with access to the Internet, e-mail, chat rooms and a variety of databases and services. , Eric led product management for the Netscape Navigator browser.
