ReporterDeck 2 is a cost effective, 4-channel digital recording solution specifically designed to replace outdated analog tape recorders, such as the Sony BM-246 and the Lanier Advocate. FTR ReporterDeck 2 provides:

* Archiving of a day of audio on one CD-R (CD-Recordable) A writable CD technology using a type of compact disc that can be recorded, but not erased (CD-Rs are "write once" discs). CD-R discs are used to master CD-ROMs, to back up data and to make copies of data for distribution.  

* Internal storage for up to 500 hours of recorded 4-channel audio

* LAN (Local Area Network) A communications network that serves users within a confined geographical area. The "clients" are the user's workstations typically running Windows, although Mac and Linux clients are also used.  connectivity for network archiving

* Small footprint and sleek design - perfect for desktop placement

* Tape recorder-style controls for quick, easy and efficient operation
