The minister also reviewed key economic developments. A meeting date has been set for the first annual review of the FTA to be held in the kingdom on February 13. In terms of business and investments between the countries, the Gulf-US forum which was held last month resulted in a positive outcome for both countries. Preparations are also under way to set a date for a Bahrain economic and financial delegation from the private sector to visit the US in April to further boost ties. Talks are also under way for holding the second meeting of Arab ministers, who signed the FTA with the US either in Bahrain or the US soon for further update of the first meeting, which was held in London in 2006.
