FSCT issues call for papers for coating wood program; ACSeries to be held September 25-27 in Charlotte, NC.

The FSCT FSCT Federation of Societies for Coating Technology
FSCT Fire Support Control Terminal
has issued a Call for Papers for the Advancements in Coatings Series, "Coating Wood and Wood Composites: The Changing Future." To be held at the Marriott Charlotte Executive Park, Charlotte, NC, this program examines areas critical to interior and exterior coatings for wood. Focus will be on wood composites, mold mold, name for certain multicellular organisms of the various classes of the kingdom Fungi, characteristically having bodies composed of a cottony mycelium. The colors of molds are caused by the spores, which are borne on the mycelium.  and mildew mildew, name for certain fungi and protists, for the diseases they cause in various crops, and for the discoloration (and sometimes the weakening and disintegration) they cause in such materials as leather, fabrics, and paper.  (including moisture intrusion), and streamlining the manufacturing process to achieve greater efficiency.

"Coating Wood and Wood Composites: The Changing Future" consists of a one-day short course, followed by a two-day symposium featuring 30-minute paper presentations. Presentations will be offered in separate, themed tracks. In addition, suppliers are invited to showcase their products and services related to this area through tabletop exhibits.

The Organizing Task Force is seeking presentations on the following and related topics:
