KZLA-FM (93.9) -- the last commercial country station in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  -- has ditched its spurs and slipped on its dancing shoes.

The station's new format, which started without notice to listeners on Thursday, is called Movin' 93.9, featuring dance-pop by the likes of Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Black Eyed Peas This article is about the American hip hop group. For the vegetable, see Black-eyed pea.

The Black Eyed Peas are an American hip hop group from Los Angeles, California, who have enjoyed worldwide pop success. The group is currently composed of will.i.am, apl.de.
, Madonna, Janet Jackson and Gnarls Barkley.

Rick Dees, morning personality at KIIS-FM (102.7) for decades until Ryan Seacrest Ryan Seacrest (born December 24, 1974) is an American radio and television personality. Seacrest is also a former children's game show host, who gained prominence as the host of the reality television amateur-search series American Idol.  hijacked the microphone 2 1/2 years ago, will launch a new KZLA early show around Labor Day.

The format change was sudden, according to reports. After 32 years of Hanks, Garths and Rebas, KZLA simply played the Keith Urban song ``Tonight I Wanna wan·na

Country is a staple of programming in evenings and weekends at CSUN CSUN California State University Northridge  public-radio station KCSN-FM (88.5). And in the Inland Empire, KFRG-FM (K-FROG at 95.1) covers the plains with country at various positions on the FM dial.
