FROM BAD TO `WORST' FOR YOUNG MARRIEDS.

Byline: David Kronke Television Critic

After a wedding that had the bride blushing for any number of reasons, newlyweds Howard (Ben Miller) and Mel (Sarah Alexander Sarah Alexander (born 3 January 1971) is an English actress, known for her roles in various British comedy series. Biography

It is one of two BBC branded channels broadcast in the United States, the other being global news channel, BBC World.  series takes place in one day 7/8 not to be confused with ABC's similar ``Big Day,'' in which a day plays out over an entire season. In tonight's installment, the happily traumatized couple expects to move into their new home (on which Howard's equally inept father is putting some finishing touches finishing touches finish npl the finishing touches → der letzte Schliff

Despite Mel's parents' extreme misgivings, Howard steps in as a last-minute pallbearer; disaster, of course ensues, to which Mel's father deadpans of the deceased, ``She couldn't make up her mind about being buried or scattered. Thanks to you hurling her about, she got the best of both worlds.''

Believe it or not, it can get worse from there, as an exploding house, corporate downsizing (1) Converting mainframe and mini-based systems to client/server LANs.

Alexander's face remains ever filled with hope that her hapless husband might just not muck this one up, yet something in the corners of her eyes suggests she understands just how delusional she's being.

``The Worst Week of My Life'' may not account for the best half-hour of your week, but you could certainly do worse. Heaven knows Howard does.
