The Kings likely made their final major moves of the summer Friday, signing winger Alexander Frolov Alexander Alexandrovich "Alex" Frolov (Russian: Александр Александрович "Алекс" , their leading goalscorer from 2003-04, to a five-year, $14.5 million contract.

Valeri Bure Valeri Vladimirovich Bure (Russian: Валерий Владимирович Буре, Valerij Bure  also joined the Kings, with a one-year, $1.5 million deal, and after the two moves were finalized, general manager Dave Taylor said his work on the free-agent market could be complete.

``It has slowed down for us,'' Taylor said. ``We feel we've put together a good lineup. We'll probably go to training camp with what we've got right now, and we feel pretty good about the moves we made.''

Friday's moves put the Kings' salary total for this season at about $33 million, under the league-mandated cap of $39 and with some wiggle room wiggle room

Locking up Frolov was one of Taylor's biggest tasks of the summer. Frolov, 23, led the Kings with 24 goals in 77 games in 2003-04, his second season. Frolov would have been eligible for restricted free agency after the 2008-09 season, but the Kings now have him under contract for one year beyond that.

``We were talking about a three-year deal or a five-year deal,'' Taylor said. ``This is a great message to our fans. He is certainly one of our top young players, and it's nice to know we have him under contract for five more years. He is committed to this organization, and he's only going to continue to get better.''

Frolov played in Russia's pro league during the lockout lockout, intentional closing up of a company, factory, or shop by an employer to prevent employees from working during a strike or labor dispute. ``Valeri brings a different dimension, a lot of speed and quickness,'' Taylor said. ``We especially like his versatility on the power play.''

Bure lives in Malibu with his wife, actress Candace Cameron. He split time with Dallas and Florida in 2003-04 and scored 22 goals and 30 assists in 52 games. In his most productive season, 1999-2000, Bure scored 35 goals and 40 assists in 82 games with Calgary.

The Kings also signed wingers Jeff Giuliano and George Parros to two-year contracts and traded defenseman Bryan Muir to the Washington Capitals for future considerations Friday.

--Ducks add two: The list of unrestricted free agents yet to come to terms with the Ducks was trimmed to four after left wings Travis Moen and Chris Kunitz accepted one-year qualifying offers.

Defenseman Ruslan Salei, left wing Stanislav Chistov, center Samuel Pahlsson and defenseman Mark Popovic have until Monday to accept their offers. After the deadline, the players can be signed by other teams in exchange for draft picks if the Ducks don't match the offer.
