The firefighters also painted a message on the roof of the downtown fire station. In giant letters, it urged: ``Get well soon Brian.''
The event was a kickoff for a series of fund-raisers for the Firemen's Relief Association Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firemen's Fund, which is providing some money to help pay Hampton's bills.
