LITTLEROCK - A free medical, dental and nutrition fair will be held Sunday at Jackie Robinson Noun 1. Jackie Robinson - United States baseball player; first Black to play in the major leagues (1919-1972)

Free dental exams and dentistry will be available in the Tzu Chi The Tzu Chi Foundation (Traditional Chinese: 慈濟基金會; Simplified Chinese: 慈济基金会  Mobile Dental Clinic located in the gymnasium, while medical screenings and tests will be conducted outdoors on park basketball courts.

Free medical services include physical checkups, blood pressure and blood sugar testing, cancer screenings, cholesterol testing, HIV testing, acupuncture, chiropractic chiropractic (kīrəprăk`tĭk) [Gr.,=doing by hand], medical practice based on the theory that all disease results from a disruption of the functions of the nerves.  and proper medication information.

For women age 40 and over, appointments will be scheduled for clinical breast exams and mammograms.

Providing service will be professionals from the American Cancer Society American Cancer Society,
n.pr established in 1913, this national volunteer-based health organization is committed to the elimination of cancer through prevention and treatment and to diminishing cancer suffering through advocacy, scholarship, research,

Antelope Valley Transportation Authority bus service is available. People with disabilities can call (661) 944-2880 for transportation arrangements.

In addition, the county Department of Parks and Recreation will organize a physical fitness obstacle course in the softball area.

Local farmers and retailers have joined together to conduct a community food fair. Visitors can learn how to grow, prepare and eat healthy fruits and vegetables.

The fair is sponsored by the Tzu Chi Free Clinic, Antelope Valley Partners for Health, High Desert Children's Dental Clinic, Wilsona Healthy Start, Grace Resource Center, Los Angeles County Public Health Services health services Managed care The benefits covered under a health contract  and local dentists and medical providers.
