 FRANK J. SETIAN JOINS BANKERS TRUST
 NEW YORK, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Frank J. Setian has joined


Bankers Trust Company's Global Merchant Banking Department as managing director and head of the Transaction Development Group. Setian's responsibilities include developing and facilitating the delivery of merchant banking ideas and solutions to clients, selected client coverage and the managing of complex financial advisory assignments.
 Setian was formerly a principal of Morgan Stanley & Co., Incorporated, with relationship responsibilities for companies in the electric utility, gas pipeline, gas utility and oil industries. Earlier in his 13-year career at Morgan Stanley, he was the president of a successful start-up venture that partnered the firm with a prominent law firm and six natural gas pipeline companies to build a nationwide natural gas spot market trading firm, the U.S. Natural Gas Clearinghouse.
 Setian received an undergraduate degree in economics and mathematics from Dartmouth College and an MBA in finance from Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School of Business Administration.
