FRANK GEHRY GETS RIBA GOLD MEDAL AND REM KOOLHAAS GETS THE PRITZKER PRIZE. BOSTON LOSES ITS ARCHITECTURAL DIRECTION.


Frank Gehry Frank Owen Gehry, CC (born Ephraim Owen Goldberg, February 28, 1929) is a Pritzker Prize winning architect based in Los Angeles, California.

His buildings, including his private residence, have become tourist attractions.
 has been awarded this years's RIBA RIBA Royal Institute of British Architects  Gold Medal for Architecture. Gehry's reputation has steadily grown through a series of challenging projects that push the boundaries of form and materials.
