Briefly known as Sociedad Licenciataria Norte S.A. . Under terms of the deal, both companies are jointly buying out the stakes held by Grupo Perez Companc and J.P. Morgan for a total $530 million. After the deal, each of the buyers will own 50% of Telecom Argentina's ordinary shares. The company has 3.2 million lines and provides telephone service to a part of Buenos Aires and northern Argentina. |
