FR nylon 6 is halogen-free.


Technyl Star S 60G1 V30 is a flame-retardant version of a high-flow nylon 6 that contains 30% glass and no halogen or red phosphorus (Chem.) an allotropic modification of phosphorus, obtained as a dark red powder by heating ordinary phosphorus in closed vessels. It is not poisonous, is not phosphorescent, and is only moderately active chemically. . Supplied by Rhodia Engineering Plastics, Mississauga, Ont., the grade passes UL 94V-0 and glow-wire testing at 0.8mm. According to according to
