of business and traders community of Pakistan Federation of Pakistan The Federation of Pakistan is the name of Pakistan as it appears on Government documents and almost all official papers. In comparison, the name Islamic Republic of Pakistan is rarely used on any documents apart from passports and visas. Chambers of Commerce and Industry will take up the matters related to
problems of Karachi Iron & Steel Merchants at every level for

FPCCI FPCCI Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in a meeting with delegation of Karachi Iron & Steel Merchants
Association led by Haji Ghulam Mohammed visited FPCCI Headquarters. The
delegation appraised the president FPCCI about the problems faced by the
Iron & Steel importers especially in regard to the fixation of ITP ITP - Intent to Package ,
which is on very higher side. The delegation was assured by the
federation that their problems will be taken up at coming meetings with
the Chairman Federal Board of Revenue. The members of delegation
appreciated the efforts of Mr. Zakaria Usman, Vice President FPCCI and
Mr. Shakil Ahmed in resolving the issues related to Sales Tax sales tax, levy on the sale of goods or services, generally calculated as a percentage of the selling price, and sometimes called a purchase tax. It is usually collected in the form of an extra charge by the retailer, who remits the tax to the government. and Audit

& steel, The Vice President FPCCI Mr. Zakaria Usman assured the
members of local iron & steel merchants association that they will
ensure that the Pakistan Iron & Steel Merchant Association
membership should be given to all those involved in the steel trade
without any discrimination. Mr. Shamoon Bakir Ali, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed,
Zahid Gogan, Tahir Ayub, Mr. Abdul Salam, Mr. Javed Motiwala & Mr.
Mohammed Kamran from APISMA, Mr. Zakaria Usman & Mr. Mansha Churra
Vice Presidents FPCCI and Mr. M.A. Lodhi, Secretary General FPCCI also
attended the meeting.
