KB Home, a major player in the U.S. and French markets, earned a record $123.7 million during the year's final quarter, equal to $2.92 per share. In the year-ago period, the company earned $88.5 million, or $2.03 a share.

Results for the quarter and full year pummeled estimates of analysts polled by Thomson Financial/First Call.
