FORMER DEPUTY D.A. ADMITS GUILT IN NEW SCAMS.

VENTURA -- A former Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County prosecutor is scheduled to be sentenced in November after pleading guilty this week to fraud in connection with two real-estate scams.

Julie Marie Sergojan was accused of engineering a series of frauds in 2002 so she could purchase a $500,000 home in the Westlake Village area.
