Most of her time is spent at the Palmdale Senior Center where she is concerned about the quality of life experienced by the older seniors. ``I've made some of them my children,'' she said. ``I'm here for them. Some of them just need a hug. By age I'm a senior myself but I'm not one in attitude.'' On weekends she takes out tour buses and during the rest of the week she works at the center. When she came here a little more than four years ago, it was to take care of her ill mother who had lost her will to live. ``She weighed only 69 pounds when I weighed her.
