 FORD TO INTRODUCE TWO NEW VEHICLES AT LOS ANGELES AUTO SHOW
 At its news conference at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Thursday, Jan. 2, Ford Motor Co. will introduce two new vehicles -- the 1993 Ford Probe, a sporty personal car produced in cooperation with Mazda, and the 1993 Mercury Villager mini van developed in cooperation with Nissan -- and will make an important announcement about an electric vehicle program for Southern California. The news conference will be held in the Lincoln-Mercury display at 1:50 p.m. in the Los Angeles Convention Center.
 INTERVIEW
 POSSIBILITIES:
 Robert L. Rewey, vice president of sales operations
 for Ford North American Automotive Operations, who can
 discuss Ford global car development strategy and the
 details of the two new vehicles.
 Dr. Roberta Nichols, Ford principal engineer, who can
 explain Ford's overall alternative fuel program.
 John Wallace, director of Ford's Electric Vehicle
 Office and Ford's representative to the auto
 industry's Battery Consortium, who can talk about
 Ford's efforts to meet Southern California's "emission
 free" vehicle requirement.
