 FORD Q1 CEREMONY, '93 MODEL INTRODUCTION DAY TO TAKE PLACE IN OHIO
 Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) continues to make news in Northeast Ohio -- and the week of Sept. 21 will produce two big news-making events that you are invited to attend:
 Tuesday, Sept. 22 -- Ford will hold a Q1 ceremony as the Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake and the Lorain Assembly Plant receive the Company's coveted Q1 Quality Achievement Award.
 Thursday, Sept. 24 -- Ford's 1993 Model Introduction Day will be observed with a massive driveaway of new Mercury Villager minivans from the Ohio Assembly Plant.
 Q1 AWARD
 On Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the main conference room of the Ohio Assembly Plant. Hank Nickol, vice president - Ford North American Vehicle Operations, will present the Q1 Award to Plant Manager Dave Porter and UAW Local 2000 Chairman Don Schnur, who will accept on behalf of the 1,600 Econoline section employees.
 A caravan of 1993 Ford Econoline Vans and Club Wagons and Ford Thunderbirds and Mercury Cougars will go 17 miles to the Lorain Assembly Plant, 5401 Baumhart Road. Mr. Nickol will repeat the ceremony, at about 11 a.m., giving the Q1 Award to Plant Manager John Akins and UAW Local 425 President Bill Allen, who will accept on behalf of all 4,400 employees at that plant.
 The Ford and UAW executives also will be available for individual interviews, and there will be time for brief tours of each plant. Please arrive at the Ohio Assembly Plant (use the Abbey Road entrance) at 9 a.m. for coffee and rolls before the program begins.
 VILLAGER DRIVEAWAY
 On Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the same conference room at the Ohio Assembly Plant, with remarks by Porter, Schnur and Jon Trautman, Lincoln-Mercury Division Great Lakes regional sales manager. At about 3:30 p.m., dealers and salespeople representing 75 L-M dealerships in Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania drive away from the plant in 1993, front- wheel-drive Villagers.
