FORD EMPLOYEES REPORT TO WORK AT THE PARK

DETROIT, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 250 Ford employees housed in the Renaissance Center will trade in their business suits for work clothes to spend the day painting, sweeping and removing brush as part of the second annual "Operation Park Pride" in Detroit's River Rouge Park on Wednesday, June 30. Detroit Recreation Department employees will supervise the day's work.
"Operation Park Pride" is a community-service event developed and organized by a Ford Employee Involvement Committee. Park Pride activities will help ready the park for the mid-July grand opening of the park's newly renovated Charles H. Brennan Memorial Pools.
"Operation Park Pride is an opportunity for Ford employees to help the community in which they work," said Ross Roberts, Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) vice president and general manager of Ford Division. "This year's project marks nine years of community service by Ford employees working in Detroit."
