 DEARBORN, Mich., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Ford Motor Company


(NYSE: F) will replace the throttle position sensor on approximately 44,000 1990-91 Probe vehicles with 3.0-liter engines. Federal and Canada carbon monoxide emissions may be exceeded due to premature wear of the throttle position sensor.
 Owners will be notified by mail and asked to return the vehicles to their dealers to have the work performed at no charge.
 Of the affected vehicles, 1,840 are located in Canada.
