Four puppies trapped for two days between the walls of two North Hollywood businesses were rescued Friday afternoon by Los Angeles Fire Department The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), also known as the Los Angeles City Fire Department to distinguish it from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. `The poor (puppies) were screaming so much, it grabbed at the heart,'' he said. ``The firefighters were very good.''
