In the article ``Being Spartacus'' that appeared in the U section Dec. 13, the name of actor Kirk Douglas' son who died was misidentified. The death of Eric Douglas Eric Douglas (June 21, 1958 – July 6, 2004) was an American actor.

He was born Eric Anthony Douglas in Los Angeles, California, the youngest son of actor Kirk Douglas and Belgian mother Anne Buydens. His half-brother is Michael Douglas. is covered in Douglas' upcoming book, ``Let's let's
