FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

Due to a production error, an outdated list of weekend events was printed Thursday in the U section. These are the events that will be taking place this weekend:

Actress Jane Seymour Jane Seymour

(born 1509?, England—died Oct. 24, 1537, Hampton Court, London) Third wife of Henry VIII of England. A lady-in-waiting to Henry's wives Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn, she first attracted Henry's attention c.
 will preside as honorary chairwoman and showcase her artwork at the second annual Thousand Oaks Thousand Oaks, residential city (1990 pop. 104,352), Ventura co., S Calif., in a farm area; inc. 1964. Avocados, citrus, vegetables, strawberries, and nursery products are grown.  Arts Festival An arts festival or art fair is a festival that focuses on the visual arts, but which may also focus on other arts.

. The event will feature the work of local painters, photographers, sculptors and other artists. Music, theater and dance groups will perform.

Activities for kids include creating computer art with the Creativity Workshop and learning about musical instruments with the New West Symphony's ``Petting Zoo.'' The festival also features the Children's Art Experience, where kids can experiment with pastels, pattern-making and other art activities. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Seafood Festival: Enjoy seafood from local restaurants and entertainment at the Seafood Festival at Channel Islands Harbor. The event features a shrimp-eating contest, stein-holding contest, fine wine and micro brew tasting, live entertainment, children's rides, games, arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant. The term was coined in England in the late 19th cent. as a label for the then-current movement directed toward the revivifying of the decorative arts.  displays, and boat rides. Tourism and retailing are important, and the city has motion-picture, biotechnology, and software industries. : Food lovers of all ages can eat all they want and learn gourmet tips and techniques from culinary experts from Santa Monica's best restaurants. Taste of Santa Monica will feature live entertainment and a wine garden. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
