American public official who served as U.S. secretary of state (1929-1933) and as secretary of war (1940-1945) during World War II. He was the chief adviser on atomic weaponry to Presidents Franklin D.
 incorrectly reported his age as 48. He is 45. It also incorrectly identified his wife as Laura Stimson. Her name is Paula PAULA Possession of Alcohol Under the Legal Age  Stimson.
