After attending Rangitoto College in Auckland, he moved to the United States in 1995 to play for the University of California, where he majored in  of Springfield, a daughter.

Fredericksen - Ruth May Fredericksen, 83, of Loon loon, common name for migratory aquatic birds found in fresh- and saltwater in the colder parts of the Northern Hemisphere. Its strange, laughing call carries for great distances. Like the grebes, loons float low in the water and their legs are placed far back.  Lake-Reedsport, died Nov. 29. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Scottsburg Community Church. Dunes Memorial Chapel, Reedsport, in charge of arrangements.

Hartman- Home B. Hartman, 81, of Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery). , died Dec. 2. Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, in charge of arrangements.

Lynch - Betty J. Lynch, 76, of Springfield, died Dec. 3. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Tonole- Domenico "Mac" Tonole, 99, of Cottage Grove, died Dec. 4. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, which is in charge of arrangements.
