FOR OPENERS.NAFB NAFB National Association of Farm Broadcasters (now National Association of Farm Broadcasting) NAFB National Association of Farm Broadcasting (formerly National Association of Farm Broadcasters; Platte City, Missouri) . In this issue, we continue our long-standing relationship with the National Association of Farm Broadcasters by publishing the annual NAFB Convention supplement. Of note in this supplement is an interesting discussion on how broadcasters who have large urban audiences can help `educate' these folks on the issues surrounding agriculture. There is also an article profiling several strong Midwestern ag radio stations that are celebrating their 75th anniversary. The success of these stations still remains with the strength of the farm broadcaster and his or her ability to connect with their respective audiences. It, by chance, we missed somebody Who is also celebrating number seventy-five, please accept our apologies and let me know. Hopefully when you receive this issue, some new features will have appeared on our Web site. If not, they will appear at any moment. Or at least that's what the techies tell me. One new feature will be our Opinion Poll for Agri Marketers. Key questions will be posed to this community and answers will be summarized, allowing you to see how you compare with your peers. On some questions, we will be sampling farmers so you can compare your answers to folks we all do business with. Since this is the last issue for 2000, the staff of Agri Marketing magazine wishes all of you an enjoyable and safe upcoming holiday season. COMING UP
