FOR ONCE, IT'S A QUIET DAY IN THE CITY BASKETBALL SEEDING GOES AS EXPECTED.

City Section boys' basketball seeding meeting has been a place of controversy - league representatives and coaches arguing for their teams and a general feeling that the process isn't fair.

However, Saturday's meeting at Manual Arts High of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  was relatively quiet and low key.

Only four area teams qualified for the City bracket, and six area teams will be represented in the Invitational in·vi·ta·tion·al

Cleveland of Reseda, which had a dramatic turnaround from a season ago to finish second in the West Valley League, made the top bracket - as the 16th seed. The Cavaliers face the daunting daunt

task of defeating nationally ranked Westchester, the top seed.

``We are preparing to go down there and play hard and win,'' Cleveland coach Andre Chevalier said. ``This will be an experience for our players to better themselves. If you want to be the best, you have to play the best.''

Sylmar, which finished undefeated in the Valley Mission League, is the area's highest seed at No. 6. The Spartans will play host to 11th-seeded Palisades Palisades, cliffs along the west bank of the Hudson River, NE N.J. and SE N.Y., extending from N of Jersey City, N.J., to the vicinity of Piermont, N.Y., with a general altitude of from 350 ft to 550 ft (107–168 m).  on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

``I said we wanted to be seeded sixth last week and that's exactly what we got and I'm very happy,'' Sylmar coach Bort Escoto said. ``I think we are better than sixth, but the process is all about who you play, not what number you are.''

No. 9 Taft of Woodland Hills, the West Valley League champion, travels to Carson in a rematch REMATCH Cardiology Clinical trials–Randomized Evaluation of Mechanical Assistance Therapy as an alternative in Congestive Heart failure–related to use of a portable, electric left ventricular-assist system–LVAS–eg, HeartMate®  of a nonleague game the Toreadors lost by 18 in December. However, Taft is a vastly different team with the subtraction subtraction, fundamental operation of arithmetic; the inverse of addition. If a and b are real numbers (see number), then the number ab is that number (called the difference) which when added to b (the subtractor) equals  of Mustafa Asghari and the addition of Steve Smith. With that combination, the Toreadors won the league title and came within a buzzer-beating shot of defeating Sylmar on Jan. 26.

No. 10 North Hollywood, the Sunset Six League champion, plays at Narbonne of Harbor City.

Reseda, Grant of Van Nuys, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, Poly of Sun Valley and Kennedy of Granada Hills all qualified for the Invitational bracket.

Five girls' teams qualified for the City's top bracket, highlighted by No. 3 Chatsworth, which will play host to Crenshaw cren·shaw   also cran·shaw
