The Spartans will have their hands full against a Cowboys' offense anchored by the legs of running back J.J. DiLuigi, who has rushed for 2,022 yards and scored 38 touchdowns.

``The No. 1 thing will be to stop J.J. DiLuigi,'' Eidson said. ``If we find ourselves in second-and-three, second-and-four situations, that could cause some problems. Hopefully we can keep the ball out of their offense's hands.''

Both are quick to react to the ball and have good awareness.

``We're going to be trying to get them (Canyon) in passing situations,'' Eidson said. ``Our secondary plays better when we mix things up. We'll have to try and confuse their passing game. Nothing new, same looks, just something we haven't done recently."
