FORMER Celtic transfer target Hakan Yakin was last night sacked by Paris Saint Germain less than a month after joining them from FC Basel.

Yakin underwent the op on the instructions of his Swiss doctor, Heinz Buhlman, when the French club's doctors insisted there was no hernia.
And the club immediately responded by issuing a statement stating they will now ask FIFA FIFA International Association Football Federation [French Fédération Internationale de Football Association]

He said: "I am not at all happy with his decision because we gave him proof that this operation was unnecessary.
"I cannot accept that the opinion of a general practitioner should decide the fate of my player while the most eminent specialists in the field tell me it wasn't a groin hernia.
"He hadn't even arrived at the club and was already causing me problems. I knew in Switzerland he was a bit of a pet, the star. I knew all that.
"But this decision seems a bit bizarre. I think that he is poorly advised, maybe even manipulated. This player is perturbed."
