 (Acquisition and Security Investment Bureau) division of the Hungarian Department of Defence have signed a final agreement on the leasing of fourteen Jas 39 Gripen The Saab JAS 39 "Gripen" (Griffin or "Gryphon") is a fighter aircraft manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company Saab. Gripen International acts as a prime contracting organisation and is responsible for marketing, selling and supporting the Gripen fighter around the  aircraft for the Hungarian Air Force. The batch deliveries of the aircraft are to commence the fourth quarter of 2004.
