 FMC CORP. TO REDEEM SUBORDINATED DEBENTURES
 CHICAGO, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- FMC Corp. (NYSE: FMC) today


announced that on Feb. 7, 1992, it will redeem all of its outstanding 12-1/2 percent subordinated debentures, originally due June 2001. As of Dec. 31, 1991, the total outstanding principal amount was $99 million. The debentures will be redeemed at 106.25 percent of the principal amount together with accrued interest from Dec. 1, 1991. The company expects to record in the first quarter of 1992 an after-tax extraordinary charge of $5 million, which includes the premium and other charges related to the early retirement of the high-yield debentures.
