FMA secures second RoSPA Gold.

Leading project management, process design and control system integration specialists, FMA Process Engineering, of Lichfield, UK, who offer considerable experience in liquid processing, particularly focusing in the dairy sector, have received the highly coveted RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Gold Award for the second year running.

The company's Gold Award was presented at a ceremony at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel, at the National Exhibition Centre, on Wednesday, May 13th.

In addition to holding the RoSPA Gold award, FMA offers customers the assurance of other health and safety accreditations, such as the National Britannia SAFEcontractor Scheme under which FMA has been inspected and accredited in seven categories including, CDM Compliant Designer, Principle/Main Contractor and Software Design & Implementation.

Several FMA employees are also NEBOSH accredited with all Site Managers being CITB accredited to the SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Level.

The company is also a member of the British Safety Council and takes part in the British Safety Council initiative. Becoming a Registered Training Centre, FMA delivered the BSC Level 1 Certificate course in house to 20 employees and achieved an examinations pass rate of 100%. Recent inhouse training included a one day CDM 2007 awareness course for all Managers and Project/Process Engineers.
