Health Center in Lancaster, which ran out of serum last month, is again offering flu shots to senior citizens and those with chronic ailments.

The center, located at 335B E. Ave. K-6, is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Palmdale clinic was scheduled after 180 people were turned away from one held at the senior center in November.

On Nov. 9, more than 400 seniors began lining up early in the morning to receive flu shots at the senior center, but volunteers ran out of the vaccine quickly.

Four days later, county health officials canceled another clinic that had been scheduled at a Littlerock group home.
