Furloughed pilots will pay only the initial fee, $12.95, and the union will cover the cost for pilots for the next 11 months, a value of $54.45. The agreement protects furloughed pilots from possible membership price increases for a period of one year, while receiving the equivalent of an 80 percent discount if they remain members for a full year. After one year, memberships will cost a low monthly rate, currently $4.95 per month. Unlike some career information publishing companies, FLTops.com memberships renew monthly, so pilots have additional flexibility in their membership following the first year.
