CANYON COUNTRY - Surveying the damage one day after a van plowed through a flower shop, employees recalled on Thursday the explosion-like surprise and marveled that no one was injured.

With high school students readying for their winter formals, a group of teens had been ordering corsages inside 1-800-Sunflorist.com at the corner of Sierra Highway Sierra Highway is a road in Southern California, United States. ``The van just took out our entire show floor,'' Michael Mitchener said. ``It took out the double swing doors. It was just horrific.''

The driver of the van, who was not publicly identified, said his brakes failed about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, and that he lost control of the vehicle. The van destroyed a crosswalk sign before coming to rest completely inside the corner shop.
