FLORIDA STUDENTS -- AND CLASSES -- CAN EARN TRIP TO SPACEPORT USA; COCA-COLA AND ALBERTSONS SPONSOR FLORIDA-WIDE PROGRAM

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Albertsons, Coca-Cola and Spaceport USA are combining efforts to offer 10 Florida elementary and middle school classes throughout Florida the opportunity to tour Kennedy Space Center Spaceport USA.
Florida students are encouraged to save their families' Albertsons cash register receipts between March 15 and April 17. Teachers can collect their students' receipts and submit them to Spaceport USA; the 10 classes collecting the highest dollar total of receipts will be awarded a trip to Kennedy Space Center Spaceport USA, including a special tour of the historic space complex, an IMAX motion picture presentation, a meal and transportation.
Teachers should mail their class receipts to:
 Spaceport USA Tour
 P.O. Box 7013
 Marietta, GA 30065-1013
All receipts must be stapled or clipped together and received by May 5, 1993. Each teacher should also include, on an 8 1/2" by 11" white sheet of paper, his or her name, the number of children in the class, grade school, address and telephone number (including area code) and total dollar amount of all receipts. No photocopied receipts will be accepted and all receipts must be dated between March 15 and April 17. Receipts from each class must be submitted together. Partial entries will not be accepted.
While at Albertsons, both children and their parents will also have an opportunity to enter the "Name the Shuttle" contest, to name the shuttle replica that will be displayed at Spaceport USA later this year. No purchase is necessary.
"The space program -- and Florida's special role in the program -- is showcased by the many historic events that have occurred at Kennedy Space Center," noted Frank Williams, Albertsons director of marketing. "We are delighted to join with Coca-Cola and Spaceport USA to offer Florida's students the chance to receive a very special look at Kennedy Space Center Spaceport USA."
