FLORIDA PROPERTY OWNERS LIVING ELSEWHERE CAN CALL MET P&C
FOR INFORMATION ON HURRICANE ANDREW CLAIMS
NEW YORK, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida property owners who may live in other states, and whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Andrew earlier this week, may get toll-free long-distance answers to their policyholder claims questions from Metropolitan Property and Casualty Insurance Company (Met P&C).
Met P&C claims adjusters are already working in South Florida with residents and contractors to restore and rebuild damaged property. People who are accustomed to living in Florida only during the winter months can get a head start on their Met P&C claims by calling a special toll-free number, 1-800-638-0085. In addition, Met P&C has also made special arrangements to process policyholder claims throughout the winter season.
The toll-free number and extended claims service will make life a little easier for Met P&C policyholders, since they will not have to travel to their Florida property immediately to begin repairs. People are cautioned, however, to take the necessary steps to have their property secured to prevent further loss or damage.
