FLAMEMASTER FILES $75 MILLION LAWSUIT

SUN VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Flamemaster Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS: FAME) of Sun Valley, a manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and coatings used by the aircraft and aerospace industries, announced today that it has filed a multimillion dollar antitrust, breach of contract, unfair trade practices and fraud case against Courtaulds Aerospace Inc. of Glendale, Calif., and Courtaulds plc of London, England.
The suit alleges that Courtaulds attempted to monopolize and actually monopolized interstate and export trade and commerce in the production, distribution and sale of high adhesion, temperature/fuel resistant sealing compounds. The complaint further alleges that Courtaulds breached its agreements with Flamemaster by failing to market Flamemaster's products, failing to jointly develop new products and failing to provide technology or products to Flamemaster as required by the agreements.
Flamemaster, represented by Los Angeles antitrust specialist Maxwell M. Blecher, of Blecher & Collins, is seeking more than $75,000,000 in damages, punitive damages and cancellation of 349,321 shares of Flamemaster's common stock out of the 429,321 shares held by PRC, a predecessor to Courtaulds Aerospace.
