IN a strategic move to further strengthen and increase focus on expanding its major European target markets, FKI Logistex[R] (01536 480611) leading global provider of automated material handling solutions--has announced a number of new appointments covering the Warehouse & Distribution sectors across the Nordic regions.

Preben Hutscher ([e-mail]) takes up the key role of Regional Manager for the Nordic regions. Bringing significant senior management skills to his new appointment, Preben was previously Sales & Marketing Director for the Airport and for the Post & Parcel Divisions as well as holding Regional Manager positions with FKI Logistex in France and South Africa.

Also joining the enlarged regional team is Flemming Beck Rasmussen ([e-mail]) as Business Development Manager. Flemming provides in-depth experience of the Warehouse & Distribution industry across the Nordic markets having previously held senior materials handling sales positions in Denmark.

Jorgen Staun and Torben Svenstrup have been appointed Senior Solutions Designers and Leni Forsberg has been appointed as Project Engineer, all located at the company's extensive sortation manufacturing site in Aarhus. This facility offers unrivalled expertise in global sortation technology, which is applied to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for both large and small Warehouse & Distribution projects.
