Cowell was facing a bitter X Factor backlash last night as thousands of viewers vowed to boycott the show after he saved Irish twins Jedward.

The judge, who said he'd "leave the country" if the spikey-haired Dubliners won, was blasted over his dramatic U-turn when he kept the boys in on Sunday and Lucie Jones was sent home.

One viewer, Darren from Dublin, slammed: "Cowell is finally exposed as a manipulator and a fake. How stupid does he think we are?"

And Westlife star Mark Feehily Markus Michael Patrick Feehily (born 28 May, 1980 in Sligo, Ireland), better known as Mark Feehily, is a member of the popular Irish vocal pop group, Westlife.

He has two younger brothers named Barry (b. 1986) and Colin Feehily(b. 1990).
claimed Cowell planned for the twins to be X Factor stars, saying: "He used them to showcase the series before they were picked. He showed us them in his house."
