book-ended the card as an owner on his first visit to Ludlow yesterday with a first-and-last race double courtesy of Moghaayer and Wallace Monument.

The latter is named after Carson's childhood playground in Stirling and carried his purple and white silks to success in the Vyrnwy Intermediate Open National Hunt Flat Race to complete a 13-1 treble for trainer Nicky Henderson and Barry Geraghty.
