Lightly raced and open to improvement, DFUSHE JO returned to action at Wetherby and scored in good style. While he is not straightforward, he has some ability and, provided he gets an easy surface, is well capable of winning again off his new mark.

DOVERSTRAND is reaching the veteran stage but took advantage of a lenient mark to end a long losing run at Market Rasen. Now that his trainer has coaxed him back to something like his old form in, he can follow up in a similar grade after reassessment.

Given a positive ride at Cheltenham, DJAMES DE VASSY didn't surrender the initiative until after the last flight and he finished only four lengths adrift in fifth. He is relatively unexposed over timber and further improvement is on the cards. A big prize is within his grasp this winter.
