THOUGH easy to back on his seasonal debut, CELTIC CHANGE shaped well at Newcastle when third to Exit Smiling and the outing will have done him a power of good. He had decent form last year and there should be more to come.

Useful as a juvenile and tried unsuccessfully in Group and Listed company last term, FISHFORCOMPLIMENTS stuck to his task really well on his Newcastle reappearance to finish second. He was clear of the remainder, he seems to act on any surface, and a decent handicap could come his way this summer.

It looks as though MIDNIGHT MYSTIQUE is set for a successful second season on the evidence of her narrow defeat by Twilight Dawn at Newcastle. She didn't show a great deal in her first campaign but has now qualified for a handicap mark.

ORIENTALIST ART would have won in another few strides at Lingfield after missing the break and being held up on the inside. It looked as though he will benefit from the experience and should go one better in similar company in the near future.

Well supported, FARLEY STAR gave her supporters a good run for their money at Lingfield. She is lightly raced and ought to pick up a similar graded handicap off her current mark.
